File a DTR correction from the Employee Portal
In the Employee Portal, open Attendance History and select Correction on the day with the missing or wrong time log, or use Requests and choose DTR Correction. Enter the corrected times and the reason.
File from the day with the problem
- In the Employee Portal, open Attendance History from the sidebar.
- Find the day with the missing or wrong log.
- Select Correction on that row.
- Choose the Correction type: Missing Time-In, Missing Time-Out, Wrong Time (Both) or Missing Break.
- Enter the correct Time-in and Time-out (as applicable to the correction type).
- Enter the Reason for the correction.
- Select Submit.
The correction appears in your Requests list under Pending and is routed to your approver.
File from the Requests page
If you are already on the Requests page:
- Open Requests in the sidebar.
- Select DTR Correction.
- Pick the Date of the correction. The form shows the recorded time log for that day.
- Choose the Correction type.
- Enter the correct times and the reason.
- Select Submit.
What happens after approval
- The corrected times replace the original on the attendance record.
- The record is marked as corrected in the audit log.
- Late minutes, undertime, overtime hours and night differential are recomputed automatically.
- Your next payslip reflects the corrected figures.
What NOT to use a DTR correction for
- Full-day absence that should have been leave: file a leave request instead. See file a leave request from the Employee Portal.
- Overtime that was not approved beforehand: file an overtime request. See file an overtime request from the Employee Portal.
- Schedule change (change of shift): ask HR to reassign your shift template. A DTR correction does not change the schedule.

Questions people ask
When should I file a DTR correction instead of a leave?
File a DTR correction when you actually worked but the time log is wrong or missing (forgot to clock in or out, biometric did not read, device offline). File a leave request when you did not work.
What correction types are available?
Missing Time-In, Missing Time-Out, Wrong Time (both time-in and time-out), and Missing Break. The form shows the recorded time for the day so you can see what is being corrected.
How soon should I file a correction?
File it as soon as you notice the error. Companies typically require corrections before the payroll cutoff for the pay period. After the cutoff the attendance record is used for payroll even if there is a pending correction.
Can I file corrections for multiple days at once?
File one correction per day. If several days have the same issue (biometric offline for a week), file a correction for each day with the same reason.
Who approves a DTR correction?
Your immediate supervisor by default. HR can also act on corrections through the admin DTR Corrections page. See approve or reject DTR corrections.
What happens after the correction is approved?
The corrected times replace the original on the attendance record, late minutes, undertime, overtime and night differential are recomputed, and the record is marked as corrected. Your payroll uses the updated figures.
Can I attach proof of why the correction is needed?
A reason text is required. Attachments are not required for DTR corrections but your company policy may ask for one (for example a screenshot that the device was offline).
