File it

  1. In the Employee Portal, open Resignation.
  2. Pick your Intended last working date. It must be a future date.
  3. Enter the reason and submit.

The page notes that your resignation goes to your manager and HR for review, and that offboarding begins automatically once it is approved.

Notice period

The system counts the days from the filing date to your last working date and stores that as the notice period. It does not block a short notice. If your contract or company policy requires a minimum, HR reviews it when approving.

Approval

The request follows the company's Resignation approval workflow. If the company has not set one up, the request is approved immediately and offboarding starts at once.

Withdraw a request

While the status is Pending, use the withdraw option on the Resignation page. Once it is approved, ask HR.

What HR sees

HR sees the request, the last working date, the notice period and the reason, and acts on it from approvals. After approval, the last working date is written to the employee record so the certificate of employment and final pay use the right date.

Questions people ask

Can I withdraw a resignation?

Yes, while it is still pending. After it is approved it can no longer be withdrawn from the portal.

Can I file more than one resignation?

No. You can have only one active request, either pending or approved.

How is the notice period set?

It is the number of days between the day you file and your intended last working date. The system records it but does not enforce a minimum.

What happens when it is approved?

Your last working date is set on your record and the offboarding process begins.
