Check and adjust leave balances

Time, then Leave Balances, shows entitled, accrued, used, pending and available days for every employee and leave type, and lets you issue credits or adjust a balance with a reason.

Steps

  1. Open Time in the sidebar and select Leave Balances. The page is titled Leave Balances Management.
  2. Filter by Department, Leave Type or Balance Status (All, With Balance, No Balance or Low Balance), then select Apply Filters.
  3. Read the columns: Entitled, Accrued, Used, Pending, Available and Usage %.
  4. Select Export to download the table.

Issue credits

Select Issue Credits to grant leave credits.

Adjust one employee's balance

  1. Select the action on the employee's row.
  2. Choose the Adjustment Type: Add Credits (+), Record Days Used (-) or Set Balance (Override).
  3. Enter the number of Days and a Reason.
  4. Select Apply Adjustment.

Use Set Balance (Override) only to correct a wrong figure. To record time off, use Record Days Used (-) or file the leave request so the history stays complete.

How do I find employees with a low leave balance?

Set Balance Status to Low Balance (under 5 days), then select Apply Filters.
