- How a performance appraisal moves from self-assessment to approval A review moves from Draft to Self-Assessment, Manager Review, HR Approval and Approved, and the employee then acknowledges it. Each stage has its own deadline.
- Put an employee on a performance improvement plan A performance improvement plan records the reason, the improvement goals, the support given and a review date. It can be extended, completed or terminated with an outcome.
- Set and weight performance goals Goals belong to an employee and a cycle. Their weights add up to at most 100, and the weighted goal score feeds the review. HR can unlock goals after submission.
- Set up a performance review cycle A review cycle defines the period, the stage deadlines, who reviews each employee and how ratings are scored. Only a draft cycle can be edited.
