Set up holidays and holiday pay rates
Settings, then Holidays, is where you add regular and special non-working holidays, choose whether they apply company-wide or to one branch, and override the pay rate if you need to.
Steps
- Open Settings in the sidebar and select Holidays.
- Select Add Holiday.
- Enter the Holiday Name and Date, and choose the Type: Regular Holiday (200%) or Special Non-Working (130%).
- Choose the scope: National Holiday (applies to all branches) or Specific Branch.
- Tick Recurring Annual Holiday if it falls on the same date every year, for example Christmas.
- Optional: set a Pay Multiplier Override. It replaces the company-wide rate for this holiday.
- Select Save Holiday.
Compensatory offset
Tick Allow Compensatory Offset Day if employees who work the holiday should earn a future rest-day credit. Choose Additional (cash premium plus a rest day) or In Lieu (a rest day instead of the cash premium) and set how many days the credit stays valid.
