Load opening balances for a mid-year go-live
Payroll, then Opening Balances, loads each employee's year-to-date figures from before payroll started in OneHRIS, so annualized tax and 13th month pay add them to what OneHRIS processes.
Open the page
Go to Payroll and select Opening Balances. You need the permission to run payroll. The page explains that these are year-to-date figures from before payroll started in OneHRIS.

Questions people ask
What are opening balances for?
When a company starts payroll in OneHRIS partway through the year, the earlier months were paid elsewhere. Opening balances carry those year-to-date figures in, so annualized tax and 13th month pay count the whole year and not only the months processed in OneHRIS.
What does AsOfDate mean?
The last day the figures cover. Basic earned, taxable income and tax withheld run from January 1 to that date.
What if I upload a row twice?
A row replaces the existing one for the same employee and year, so you can correct a figure and upload the file again.
Why can't I save my file?
The preview shows each row as Valid or Invalid, with the reason. Save is offered only when every row is valid. Fix the file and upload it again.
