What is Holiday pay?

The pay an employee is entitled to for a regular holiday, whether or not the employee works.

An employee who does not work on a regular holiday receives 100% of the daily wage, and one who works receives 200%. Working on a regular holiday that is also the rest day pays 260%.

Special non-working days follow a different rule: no work, no pay, unless company policy says otherwise, and 130% if worked. See the Help Center for the full table.
